A Broad principal won't fit every circumstance and country people will never have the access to things you have in the city where you can pay what I could live on in TOLLS and Parking each week and pay for a freeway which has turned into a parking lot. . Once it slows NO CHARGE would be MY solution.  Nev

Look at the potential.

If the real estate market fails (it is in china, right?) They can dismantle it snd sell off each apartment. Making it truly apart ment.

If I sell my apartment, the buyer can unbolt it and crane it to his own land and start collecting for his own high rise project.

But what if your apartment is on the third floor of an eleven floor building? Ever played "Fiddle sticks"?

I was driving down Canterbury Rd Forest Hill this morning approaching Springvale Rd. The traffic was banked up more than usual at the lights. Then I saw the red and blue flashing lights. The traffic moved through slowly and I got close to the front at the next red light. There had been an accident between a sedan and a delivery van. The tow truck was blocking two of the three lanes. It had the sedan on the tray and the van was hitched to the lifting arms under the front wheels. The cop cleared the tow truck driver to leave, but as he moved off, the van dropped off the lift arms. The truck had to back up and reattach the van. The lights changed and I was able to proceed so I didn't see what happened after that.  Obviously the van had not been correctly attached.

While I was driving into Dubbo today, I had a really great random thought to post here. Too bad I also has a sort of Olt Timer's moment and lost it.

ome, that just goes to show it was an undeniable, truly random thought in the spirit of the thread. You should get a kookaburra stamp in your copy book for that.

A random thought just occurred in relation to the previous post. What if copy books, kookaburra and koala stamps were only found in the old Queensland education system? Nobody else would know what I was referencing. I'm open to enlightenment from other state dwellers.

Inspiration Beats Perspiration. Random doesn't mean fleeting." Out of the blue" might cover it .You'd have  had trouble recollecting those things when you were at your best, let alone NOW. Put a note on a piece of paper. The words stay there then.  Nev

Hurray for ' Global warming ' .

On the left coast when I wore short pants, and the girls chased me, we got an elephant stamp for outstanding effort in the classroom.

Unfortunately, it's been about 65 years since I last got an elephant stamp, and I can't even remember the last time a girl chased me - probably about the same length of time!
