My point is that most damaging political bs gets spread widely by anonymous entities (persons, or automated bots, from unknown locations). Pretty hard to police when you don't even have a name to work with.

People experienced on line can call trolling a mile away.  Most questions are "GOTCHA's", and you'll be interrupted  constantly by the interviewer who is more occupied with getting HIS view across than that of the person supposedly being interviewed.   Nev

Yep, nomad. you would sure need to fine guys who published anonymous stuff that was hurtful lies.

I reckon the more money they have, the better they will be able to pay.
