facthunter Posted November 9 Posted November 9 A lot of Americans are wishing to cancel their USA citizenship and actors are moving to Britain. Apparently it's expensive and time consuming.. Nev. 1

Add to that, the big bunch who weren't bothered enough to vote. That only leaves a minority who are upset about the coming 4 years. I suspect other countries are more concerned than the average american. 1

facthunter Posted November 10 Posted November 10 The UK could do with extra talent The DON says USA doesn't have a lot of Genius's. That's a serious admission IF you think about it. Nev 1
pmccarthy Posted November 10 Posted November 10 The best way of preventing a war is to talk tough, act belligerent and unpredictably crazy. He will do a good job. 1
facthunter Posted November 10 Posted November 10 No need to Invade the US now. Trump has stolen it without people realising it. He will make it GRATE again. No free trade only formalises the way the did deals anyhow. Nev 1

red750 Posted November 11 Posted November 11 A senior Democrat strategist said the thing that brought Kamala undone was when she was asked in an interview "Is there anything you would do different to Biden?" she paused for a second and said "Nothing I can think of." She needed to differentiate herself. 1 2

If you're stupid enough to vote for him without knowing what a useless c*** he is, you're not smart enough to see you've been conned. 1

She needed to differentiate herself. The Democrats have been in denial for a long time. It was obvious to Blind Freddy that Biden wasn't fit for a second term and that he was a big risk of losing the presidency. Because of his elder statesman position in the party nobody wanted to rock the boat earlier, and it was left up to Biden to decide. It's also fairly obvious if Biden is the main reason the democrats look like losing, keeping the ship on the same course will result in hitting the rocks. They might have had a chance if Biden signaled his intention much earlier and a capable successor from outside his administration was prepared. 1 1
nomadpete Posted November 12 Posted November 12 I'll say again. Had Kamala come out promising electoral refom and ending armament support for Netanyahu, she would have won. But she had no strong agenda, and the voters wanted decisive action - any kind would do. 2
