cauldrontoday Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Hustle culture is ingrained in us from a young age—it's in our schools, our workplaces, even our social circles. We’re taught that working nonstop is the only way to succeed, but it's a lie. The real success is living a balanced life where work is just one part of who we are, not the entirety. To solve this, we need systemic change—employers offering real work-life balance, schools teaching the value of rest, and society rejecting the glorification of overwork.
onetrack Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I don't think "hustle culture" is something that applies to most Australians. I think you must be from America, and working in a ruthless, ethically-and-morally-bankrupt, corporate environment. 2 1
facthunter Posted August 16 Posted August 16 OT I can't agree with your connection. It's NOT common in the US to express such views unless you go back to the" Flower Power) Hippy generation. Australia's well entrenched in the rat race. USA worships MONEY and GREED. Nev 1 1
kangaroojack Posted August 16 Posted August 16 social media makes it worse, always comparing ourselves to others. 2
