Rotorwork Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Sadly David Bowie has passed away, two days ago Bowie released his final album Blackstar. A sad day for music fans world wide & up in the Space Station. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-01-11/the-world-reacts-to-david-bowie-death/7081978
Litespeed Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 David will be missed, he showed us what a man can be in all its complexity. And a amazing talent. A great loss to the creative world and a true innovator. Ground control out.
Kiwi303 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I never really got into his music much, Creative, sure, interesting, sure, weird, SURE! I must say I enjoyed Labyrinth tho. great movie and he was a perfect prince of darkness...
2tonne Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Space oddity is one of my all time favourites. Sorry to hear he's died.
Marty_d Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Just heard it on the radio down in the shed, bit of a shock. Space Oddity is a classic. It was inspirational seeing Chris Hadfield playing it in space - the only music video ever performed and filmed off the planet.
fly_tornado Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Bowie in QLD 1978, imagine a world without the LNP http://blogs.slq.qld.gov.au/jol/2012/11/10/david-bowie-russ-hinze-and-the-intolerable-brisbane-concert/
