facthunter Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I'd suggest it's a lot to do with the reporting. As K Rudd would say "Fair Suck of the Source Bottle" Nev 1
Marty_d Posted January 30 Posted January 30 George Dubya partied hard when Trump was first elected, because he knew he was no longer the worst president. 1
rgmwa Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Can't imagine dull as dishwater George `partying hard', but no doubt he cracked a smile at losing his place in history. 1
red750 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Just read that while RFK Jr has told people to disregard warnings to get vaccinated, and declared himself an anti-vaxxer, all his kids are vaccinated/ 1 1

Trump's learned pick for health secretary is a dangerous nutjob. 3

If you were to poll Australians about what they think of Trump, I reckon you'd find yourself in a very small minority. The response was related to trumpy deporting criminal. Who were undocumented migrants. Personally, I am all in faovr of this concept. I was mugged and robbed by a pair of Maorie migrants. Mugging locals to pay for their time in Australia. Turned out I wasn't their first victim. In my opinion they should have been deported as 'undesirable aliens' after their first mugging. Such stuff does happen and there are processes to stop it but do not seem to be used. 1 1

Marty_d Posted Thursday at 10:12 AM Posted Thursday at 10:12 AM Jeez! My notifications told me you'd quoted me 4 times - I wondered what profound uttering prompted such a response! 😆 2

Possibly not a surprising pick given the orange clown advised people to inject bleach to prevent COVID. You're given a job in Trump's cabinet as a reward for donations, loyalty or how far your tongue is up his arse, not for actually knowing anything. 1 1
red750 Posted Thursday at 08:12 PM Posted Thursday at 08:12 PM Trump is blaming Democrat policies and DEI for the crash because the FAA hired people with physical and psychological problems, when last week he sacked all those people, who were replaced by lesser trained people. 2

Be careful about what is posted on US media. You know by now how inaccurate its reporting can be. Trump hasn't sacked any public servants. There is an offer of a payout to those who want to quit the PS, but that doesn't become available for a couple of months. There is a grassroots movement amongst the PS to ignore the offer and keep working. So those on duty were already the well-trained, experienced controllers. Those of us who have piloting experience can clearly see that the collision was the result of pilot error, most likely on the part of the military pilot. Trump is blaming the FAA's DEI policy, Obama and Biden. What else would you expect from him? 2
Marty_d Posted Thursday at 09:34 PM Posted Thursday at 09:34 PM I shouldn't be surprised. But I felt an even higher level of disgust for this worm when I heard that on the news today. How anyone with the slightest bit of morality, ethics or human compassion could have voted for this turd is beyond me. 1 1
facthunter Posted Friday at 12:06 AM Posted Friday at 12:06 AM Wait till the findings are out.. NO prizes for guessing, even if by chance you get it right. Trump once again shows he is completely out of touch insensitve and oppotrunist..Nev 1
octave Posted Friday at 12:27 AM Posted Friday at 12:27 AM Many people are saying that Trump is only deporting criminals, not too sure about that - Man votes for Trump, wife gets deported 1 1

onetrack Posted Friday at 11:23 AM Posted Friday at 11:23 AM The constitutional lawyers are going to have a field day, and their orders will already be in for a brace of new, premium grade, Beemers and Mercs.
old man emu Posted Friday at 09:00 PM Author Posted Friday at 09:00 PM Does anyone know if Trump did make an oath, or did he make an affirmation when he was sworn in? Since he did not place his hand on a bible, one might assume it was an affirmation. 1
octave Posted Friday at 09:04 PM Posted Friday at 09:04 PM Oath. Perhaps not having his hand on the bible is like making a promise with your fingers crossed behind your back. 1 1 1
