He has not ruled out using the armed forces to take over Greenland and the Panama Canal.

"There are Russian ships all over the place. There are Chinese ships all over the place. We're not going to let that happen."

"Hamas have 13 days to release the hostages. When I take over all hell will break loose."

Tw quotes from a video on tonight's news.

All egotistical bluff and bluster at this stage. Lets see what actually happens when he gets in and whether his competency matches his ambitions. "When I take over, all hell will break loose" may be right, but it won't have anything to do with the hostages, just his chaotic mismanagement.

The rudeness and arrogance of Republicans.

Swearing in of new electees. A Nebraska woman was being sworn in and her husband was with her. Kamala took the oath and shook the woman's hand. She reached out to shake hands with the husband, but he put his hand in his pocket, turned and walked away.

Los Angeles has been severely impacted by bushfires. Lives have been lost and the value of property destroyed is very likely to be in the billions of dollars. This is a natural disaster on an unimaginable scale. At a time like this one would expect the leadership of the Nation to provide Federal support to the people through their State and Local governments. However, giving the go-ahead for the provision of that support is the duty of the Nation's leader. At present, Trump is not actually the leader, but one would expect him to be supportive of any such decision by the present leader.

Trump, however, has taken the opportunity to lay the blame for the devastation on the current Governor of California who declined to agree to some scheme Trump proposed during his previous term to divert water from its natural courses into Southern California. Trump's declared punishment for that disagreement is a refusal to provide Federal assistance to California to deal with the present catastrophe and its aftermath.

As a dyed-in-the-wool climate change denier, Trump is ignoring the facts that Southern California has been in the grip of drought for several years. Australians are only too well aware of how drought increases the catastrophic potential of wildfires in both forests and arable lands. The current fire situation is worsened by the effects of the Santa Ana winds, which blow west from the mountains to the east of Los Angeles and are channeled through the canyons of the western side of the mountains towards the seaboard on which Los Angeles is built. So, the devastation is not the fault of a Governor from the Democratic Party, but is simply the cumulative effect of weather patterns.

You only need to watch the first 2 minutes of this next video to see and hear what Trump has said.

Depends on the Source of your "Information" also. California is a DEM state where Harris worked as the Crown prosecutor. and SHE has lost her House. Trump will make them pay for not voting GOP. That's the way what goes for a MIND in his case, WORKS.   LOVE ME or you will pay for not doing so.. Nev

I wonder how Trump will handle the inevitable drop in tax income from the fourth largest economy in the World. The insurance companies will not suffer. It seems that they would not insure for loss by fire by people in those areas.

I see where Musk is backpedalling on his DOGE savings, saying that the target of $2bn was optimistic, they'll aim for $1 bn to start with and keep $2 bn as the ultimate target.

It seems that Musk is becoming a threat to the national security of other nations. Here is an example of his trying to influence democracy in Britain.

Think that Musk is going to stop at the UK?  There's reports he is  funding Germany's AfD, a neo- right political party and other European. Her certainly has expressed support for them.

He won't stop there..

Why do you think that is unusual? After all, he is a white South African from the wealthy class.

I don't, except he is the first to complain about others, like, I dunno, legal institutions, medalling in his affairs.. and of course, complaining about foreign interference in US elections. However, it appears those of more ideological pursuasion are hypocritical - claiming freedoms of whatever, usually speech, when that speech promotes their agenda, but when it goes against, they are the first and loudest to cry foul and be.. offended. Lizz Truss, who's budget of unfunded c. $45bn tax cuts per year.. and by unfunded, weren't going to be funded by borrowing or cost cutting, virtually sunk the economy as the financial markets were gearing up for a massive revision downards of the UK credit ratings from all agencies. That champion of free speech has serverd Keir Starmer with cease and desist papers to stop his free speech in saying so..

He hasn't stopped.
