facthunter Posted December 5 Posted December 5 AAP and Reuters used to be the Ones. Monopolies are there fora reason. Power and Control. Views and LIES. Certainly NOT NEWS. Under the Cloak of FREE speech, they drown out TRUTH. Nev 1 1
old man emu Posted December 5 Posted December 5 The problem nowadays is that we don't get reporting of events, we get opinions, and if you own the media that the opinion is broadcast on, you can block out differing opinions. 1 3
nomadpete Posted December 6 Posted December 6 (edited) Modern news :- too much of info,, comment,, comment,, outrage,, blah, blah..... Then you find that all the above was told by some individual (of nil credibility) that the reporter met down the road.... And this is masquerading as investigative reporting. Bring back the old dull factual reporting with reference to origins of facts. If ABC is dull but factual compared to Commercial news, it has more credibility. Edited December 6 by nomadpete 2
