facthunter Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 It's corrupt all right but the selection of a leader is not the real problem, structurally. It's lobbyists and funding. When you elect a party or alliance whether they pick a new leader is no big deal. Any group of people is entitled to elect a chairman to conduct the business of a meeting, or kick one out who doesn't perform. Nev
Bruce Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Yep I agree Nev. To win a seat, you need to be sponsored by a party and the party has donors. Some candidates have donors directly. Of course they would all say that no strings are attached to the donations but this is obviously rubbish.
