pylon500 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Watch this video about the flashlight apps Interesting, but; I got an iphone 4 nearly three years ago (and it was old then), and it came with the 'torch' feature in the native firmware. Is this warning really for android phones, or has Apple been installing malware in their phones? OK, just found this; http://www.howtogeek.com/198846/no-your-iphone-flashlight-is-not-spying-on-you/ Pretty much as I suspected, native iphone flashlight is safe. Why would you download another?
rankamateur Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Why would you download another? Just as everybody downloads the latest patches and software versions, they have trained their brains to have to have the "brightest flashlight" so the scum only need to name their spyware to make it appealing and people give the installer ridiculous access permission without question. It is only a torch, it doesn't need permission to access your whole life and access the internet connection to phone home.
