Jerry_Atrick Posted Friday at 03:53 PM Author Posted Friday at 03:53 PM (edited) Too far away for Chump to concetrate on for more than a few minutes. OK.. So.. where are we? I didn't see the last debate, but I heard it was as lacklustre as the first. Anyway, this is a worrying development and shows that educated people that are well off also fall for the MAGA hype. A surgeon was caught red-handed being rather vile with respect to independent candidate, Monique Ryan, herself a paediatric specialist. If the report is accurate, it makes you wonder why a surgeon, who has benefited from a progressive society and done well for himself is off on a MAGA crusade. It isn't just t have nots. https://www.theage.com.au/politics/victoria/chilling-video-captures-surgeon-tearing-down-monique-ryan-corflute-before-stomping-on-it-and-burying-it-20250418-p5lst4.html He later cast it off as a joke and made a donation, which was later refunded... Trying to cover ones tracks, I would say.. Rather ironic since one of the things he says in the video is to hide/dispose of the evidence. This sort of behaviour should not be tolerated, because even if it were a joke, which I doubt, it is the sort of thing that other nutjobs will use to justify doing it and worse. onetrack Posted Saturday at 02:53 AM Posted Saturday at 02:53 AM Just because a bloke is a surgeon and well educated and highly skilled, doesn't make him a superior being with great logical thought skills. There are some right a***holes in the medical fraternity. We have one here, he's in jail for behaving like a total imbecile in his Jaguar, and ending up killing a lovely young innocent woman with his crazed driving. It wasn't an isolated driving event, he was seen driving like a lunatic for weeks before this fatal crash. He blamed it all on his upcoming divorce, a convenient alibi. Litespeed Posted Sunday at 03:59 AM Posted Sunday at 03:59 AM It must be remembered that Surgeons are called Mr, not doctor for a reason. As a group they are seen as arrogant and often socially abhorrent in attitude, they cut up bodies as they have the bedside manner of a crocodile. They are normally seen as the butchers of medicine, bodies are machines and humanity comes a distant second. Many have delusions of their godlike powers. There are lots of highly educated fuckwits in medicine. 1
facthunter Posted Sunday at 04:56 AM Posted Sunday at 04:56 AM That seems balanced. I wouldn't be alive or my wife or 1/2 of my kids without them. Nev 2 1

spacesailor Posted Sunday at 06:04 AM Posted Sunday at 06:04 AM Well. Those sir- john's. Threw their hands up. When I stopped breathing on the operating table . The ' junior ' doctors finished my surgery, for practice. & SENT ME OFF TO THE MORGUE. So I'm told , as I only remember ' it's cold, emotionless, & that harp music terrible. spacesailor 1

I always ask for a lady doctor, I've had bad experiences with homosexual male doctors. So my regular doctor now is female. onetrack Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Going back to the original aim of the thread 🙄 - I see where 540,000 people cast their absentee vote on the first day of absentee voting. Seems like a substantial amount of people have already made their mind up, and no amount of election speeches, or last-minute pork barrelling, is going to affect the direction as to how a lot of people vote. I think there's only about 7M registered voters. 1 1
Popular Post Marty_d Posted 20 hours ago Popular Post Posted 20 hours ago My wife & I posted off our votes today. 33 spots on the Senate paper, both of us marked 1-33. I see that the LNP have done a preference swap deal with Pauline Hanson now - so just consider where your preferences are going! It's why I always mark every spot. I don't want the political parties to decide where my preference is going - I'll choose that myself, thanks very much. 3 1 1
