Admin Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 WOW, this is one incredible camera...pity it's not a phone as well but I guess, give it time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SYMXxTNbUc!
Sapphire Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Big improvement from the first film made from bitumen and 8hr exposures. Glue a mobile phone to it and it becomes "a phone as well"
Guest Deskpilot1 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 That is amazing technology, but can we old pharts remember all that. I've already forgotten how to turn it on.
Owi Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Golly! Someone has finally managed to put together enough tech in one body to show us a truly futuristic camera! Looks really good.
Gibbo Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 New Sony phone is awesome. Full 12mp SLR with a android phone attached. :)
pudestcon Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Just ordered a Samsung Galaxy camera to evaluate for work. We will be using our building site inspection checklists, creating reports, including photos, then sending to the receiver. It's got a lot of promise, let's see if it can deliver. Pud
kgwilson Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Great technology & really good optical zoom. I can't see why you would want to add a phone to it. Imagine setting up that shot of a lifetime & the phone rings. No not for me. Having a phone with a camera attached OK, but a good quality camera with a phone, bleargh.
Gibbo Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 They also have a water proof andriod phone.. :) 1m for 30mins. IP68 rating I suspect. Phone thickness is around 14mm for the SLR version with interchangable lenses. Not expected in Australia (cost US$1800).
