I have discovered how to become invisible.

 

Normally when i am among other people I get acknowledged. Men young and old give me a nod or say G'day when I walk by. Young and old women often give me a smile.

 

Now all that has ceased, I can go anywhere and nobody sees me. It took a while for me to wake up as to what was happening, but now I can share the reason with you all.

 

Just buy yourself a pair of those reflecting sunglasses. Nobody seems to know you are there and you can purve away indiscriminately with no scowls coming your way.

I find it quite disconcerting when speaking to a person wearing shades. As a courtesy I always remove mine so they can look me in the eye.
