Yenn Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Does anyone know where that lighthouse is? It seems a funny position for a lighthouse inside an estuary by the look of it.
Marty_d Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 That picture seemed a bit unrealistic to me, so I thought I'd share what an average Australian Lurpak-skulker looks like...
onetrack Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 The first Lurpak skulker looks a whole lot more attractive, to this viewer .....
Marty_d Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 The first Lurpak skulker looks a whole lot more attractive, to this viewer ..... Wholeheartedly agree!! I did have a chuckle when I was walking past and saw the Lurpak butter though. Other shoppers probably wondered why the hell I was taking a selfie in front of dairy products.
Jerry_Atrick Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 When I first say the picture, I thought it was herpack..
facthunter Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 You don't show where the microphone went. Nev
willedoo Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 @willedooI showed my 17 year old som that clip.. He now is heading for abstinence! Jerry, she cheated a little bit. Usually in those field strip competitions they will unscrew the muzzle brake and separate the bolt from the bolt carrier, both of which she didn't do. If she had, and going by her abilities, it would have added another 5 or 6 seconds. Still the fastest one I've seen, though. Scary girl. Sorry about your son. He'll get over it.
Jerry_Atrick Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 I am sure he will get over it.... Though he is definitely off Russian girls.. That and one thay took a liking on him while he was scuba diving off Cyprus were enough to scare any red-blooded male away - even if they were into the kinky stuff...
onetrack Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Mona Lisa - the original, and the 2018 version ....
Phil Perry Posted February 14, 2020 Author Posted February 14, 2020 I really don't wish to know how this happened. . . . It's gonna sting a bit getting it out but. . . Maybe a Penicillin and WD40 mixture ?
Phil Perry Posted February 14, 2020 Author Posted February 14, 2020 Aunty BBC getting a load of stick from the public about the BBC LICENCE TAX which has just been increased, when the public are screaming to have it reduced or cancelled / decriminalised. The BBC Boss has been hitting soshul meeja and begging the plebs not to push for decriminalising the tax,. .. as some of their million plus pounds a year football and Autocue readers of 'News' presenters and others would be lost to commercial television channels ? ? ? Like hell they would. No channel in its right mind would pay megabucks for dross like most of them. I'm hoping that Boris goes for the throat and does something which has needed doing for a very long time. I am a well known denigrator of the BBC, and i am biased TOO. A fact I will admit. Mainly due to the Looney Leftie bias which pervades almost everything that they do, including radio and online output.
Phil Perry Posted February 14, 2020 Author Posted February 14, 2020 Carl Benjamin replies to BBC whingers.
old man emu Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 I remember my parents getting a TV licence like this: but I'm amazed that they still existed in Australia until 1974. https://www.nfsa.gov.au/latest/radio-and-tv-licences They were abolished by that ratbag Whitlam government.
facthunter Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 You had to have one for each receiver also. Probably COST most of the price to administer. . Nev
onetrack Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 Yep, I can remember Radio and TV licences - and the perennial fear of being discovered, listening or watching without a licence, by the Licence Inspectors! They used to come around and check! Shades of East Germanys Stasi! Imagine if they still had them today? 50% of the nation would never pay them, because no-one in their right mind would pay to watch the incessant ads and utter garbage served up today, as radio/TV entertainment.
