And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. (Genesis 1:3)

Then Man got into the act and started dividing the light into segments.

That d1ckhead must be as dumb as Trump followers. For Pete's sake, how do you get it through their thick head that there is no extra sunlight. We just change the clock to use it differently.

I still think that instead of putting the clock forward for Summer, we should put it back from GMT +10 for Winter.

Yes. It means that people south of the NSW/Queensland border ( which is mostly 29 South latitude) might be getting up in the dark, however, from my experience as a policeman in the dormitory suburbs of Sydney that very many traffic accidents involve the blinding effects of the setting Sun being low on the horizon between 4:00 pm and sunset, when most people are returning home. If the clock was put forward in winter, sunset would be around 4:00 so the sun dazzle problem would be lessened.

Is it such a horrible thing to be going to and coming from work in the dark? Most of Europe has managed to do so for centuries.
