I've never forgotten a mate telling me about wearing a T-shirt in America with "G'day" written across it. Most of the Americans looked at him with puzzled looks, and one bloke finally ventured to ask him, "Hey Man, what's this here "G" Day, you're advertising?" (insert facepalm icon here).
