It’s natural to admire an attractive female, but taking it too far might indicate an underlying problem…

Not too many years ago I frequented a toppies bar and could have a conversation with the nice young barmaids while maintaing eye contact.

What on earth are you fellas talking about? I hate litterbugs and clearly someone has dropped litter on the left of the photo and no-one is picking it up!!!

But, since we're on the subject - I'm a T&A fella - I like them to have nice teeth and ankles..

Clothes maketh the man, but eyes and smile make for an attractive woman.

Not to forget intelligence. Gotta allow for amusing oneself for the 'other' 99% of your waking time

I thought a little old car like the Escort above might just about suit me. Looked them up on the net and people are asking $29000 - $35000 for them. A brand new MG has been advertised on telly for under $20000.

I've still got an '81 KA Laser Ghia 5 dr hatchback. Best little cheap runaround I've ever owned. Bought for $2000 in 1999, and I used it for years, costing me about $30 worth of fuel a month, and it could carry nearly the same volume as a Holden ute, with the seats folded down!

The "big" 1.5L motor and 5 speed gearbox, and nothing ever went wrong with it - until the day it blew a core plug in the centre of the head, under the rocker cover, and let all the coolant into the sump!

Old Joe, the truck mechanic opposite my shop, told me all the "B" series Mazda engines had the same fault.

The plug isn't actually a proper cupped steel core plug, as we normally recognise - it's an alloy plug that fills in a manufacturing orifice - and because it's in contact with the coolant, it eventually corrodes away and falls out!

I fixed the plug and then left the car in the shed for a few years, and when I went back to it to get it running, it ran for a few minutes, and then stopped, and wouldn't go again.

I suspect the fuel system got gunked up with dried petrol deposits, so I left it sitting there, because I didn't have time to work on it then. I really should drag her out and get her running again, they're a "collectible" now!
