"Lismore is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales. It is represented by Janelle Saffin of the Labor Party."

Given the pork-barilaro-ing that has been going on, it is any surprise it hasn't been repaired?

It reminds me of Grandfather and Grandmother rocks near Lamai Beach, Ko Samui. I saw them in the mid 80's when I was staying at Lamai Beach for a while. Grandmother Rock is the dynamic one. Right where Grandma's legs change names, there's a blowhole. Incoming wave action pushes water up between her legs, the wave recedes, and a few seconds later,  a big column of water squirts out the blowhole.

Not the end ! .

Mankind has been dealt blows of Armageddon proportions many time in it's existence . depleted but survived .

The dinosaur's didn't survive . And That meteor , was only One of many.

The ' Black plague ' took an awful toll on the Europeans , But they survived .

I agree, Spacey. Genetic evidence indicates as few as 8 human females survived a cataclysm 70,000 years ago, which was probably caused by the Lake Toba eruption.

Numerous ancient cultures were totally wiped out, leaving only ruins and  legends, so perhaps a few survived.

What folklore would survive our civilization’s demise?

So true Spacey.

Archaeology is mostly centred around digging up ancient rubbish tips and analysing the fragments

They’ll dig up millions of these little items. What will they make if them?
