red750 Posted June 29, 2024 Posted June 29, 2024 Imagine these guys running around the bush in the middle of the night with headlight torches on their heads and loaded guns in their arms, trying to catch Indian mythical monsters. 1
old man emu Posted June 29, 2024 Posted June 29, 2024 It is interesting that the idea of a reclusive large hairy beast roaming forests is common to many cultures around the world. We know that those cultures have been isolated from each other until only recent times. Even European cultures have some form of malevolent creature, ranging from the Bogeyman, through wicked witches to vampires and werewolves.

ClintonB Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 There is a YouTube vid of the impossible turn being done in one of these early aeronca planes. Just watched it today
onetrack Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 Need a side-by-side photo comparison. Jay Leno has a very distinctive facial structure, with a huge prominent jaw. The condition is known medically as mandibular prognathism. He is also dyslexic. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Leno#:~:text=Leno is known for his,Leno is dyslexic. 1
pmccarthy Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 If the Aeronca was a person it would be dyslexic too. 1
old man emu Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 I reckon the little Air-knocker is such a cutie. I've got plans for an RC model with clipped wings. I've also got plans for a lot of other unstarted RC plane projects. 2
