Phil Perry
Dunno if there's a 'Downer' on accordions today,. . .but I came across these two within an hour on disparate sites on the interwebbythingummy. . . I think ( played properly ) they sound very nice. . .( Think of the theme music to the TV shows 'Maigret' and 'Allo Allo' . . .) Was at an old country pub recently, and there was lady accordion player, and a bloke playing a classical guitar, a third player was a lovely young wispy slim Lady violin player. . .. . .gypsy / folk music and all sorts. .. very pleasant I thought. . . . old man emu
Using the phrase,"an old country pub" , to describe any public house in rural England is a bit of a tautology, don't you think?

Phil Perry
Prescient bit of photoshopping. . . . Just seen an image of a shark swimming alongside a car on a Houston freeway. . .I didn't post it, as it was more than likely fake. But there is apparently an Alligator sanctuary in the Houston area, which is in danger of being overcome by flood water, due to reports of a couple of Dams and some levees which are about to be overtopped if the rain continues. . . . Worst flood disaster since the category 4 storm in 1900 ( so some commentators have said ) The BBC have claimed that we only get this once every one thousand years. I didn't realise that the Iroquoi Indians kept detailed weather data . . . .

Marty_d
Here's a handy idea for when the crop spraying jobs dry up. . . . I read an article on this recently - unless someone's decided to pull the leg of a journalist big time, the Yanks are thinking of fitting out Air Tractors as ground attack aircraft. Lethal Crop Dusters - armed and armored crop dusters U.S. counter-drug operations
Phil Perry
Yep... "never touch under the dog's tail" was a necessary rule in our place. A dog recently savaged a toddler in the UK. It was a Golden retreiver Labrador, a breed not known for vicious tendencies. The toddler was injured, but fortunaltely not severely. After the dog was taken away, a sharp pencil was found deeply embedded into one of it's inner ears. . .One can only imagine what pain the dog felt from this treatment, even though it was administered by a small child. I've said the same thing for a very long time,. . as have others. Dogs should NEVER - EVER be left alone with small children.. . .and yet cases like this still occur. This particular dog was destroyed by court order. I have local neighbours who leave their two children alone with 2 bloody huge Rottweiler dogs. The kids are aged between 6 and 8 years old. They think that the dogs are going to be protective of the kids, whilst they go to the bloody pub,. . and they may well be. . .but what if one of the kids does something which seriously upsets one of the dogs . . .? Phil Perry
I read an article on this recently - unless someone's decided to pull the leg of a journalist big time, the Yanks are thinking of fitting out Air Tractors as ground attack aircraft. Lethal Crop Dusters - armed and armored crop dusters U.S. counter-drug operations This all seems a little odd don't you think Marty ? . . .the CIA are actively running Opium out of Afghanistan to fund their 'Black Ops' ( NO It ISN'T the Taliban - that is just a cover story ) since congress oversight is now allegedly a little better than it used to be ( ? ) and will not fund all of their dirty little extra governmental 'games'. And on the other hand, the USAF / Army / DEA . . are getting funding for slow speed, low level aircraft to pursue drug baron operations elsewhere. Columbia ?. . .Brazil ?. . . . .what a lunatic mess they create for themselves. SO,. . .we have 'The State'. then we have the 'Invisible' CIA. then we have the so called 'Deep State' running the whole show from the shadows. . . . it would be funny if it were not so bloody stupid and, well,. . .SAD is the word that comes to my mind. ( I wonder if Australia has a 'Deep State' / Illuminati which runs everything in the background. . .? ? Stan Deyo - author of 'The Cosmic Conspiracy' certainly said that hey do, and this was back in 1974. . . .look him up. . .Probably a total looney but you never know,. . he had some interesting stories about OZ. . .secret underground bases et al. . .. . .) Afghanistan is going to be, and probably already IS a carbon copy of the empire that the CIA created in LAOS, where they funded a production / transport system for Opium to boost their funds and financed 'Air America' to carry the stuff / people and munitions around and out of the country with zero congressional oversight, and enlisted lots of disgruntled pilots and other Ex-millitary mercenaries to carry it off. . .This wasn't just a Movie with Mel Gibson. . . .it really happened. And it looks as if it still is, but in another theatre. The Taliban are being blamed for all this but there are thousands of U.S. 'Contractors' working in AFG. . . what are they all doing there ? ? Answers on a postcard. My mate 'Hump' is an Ex- Royal Marine and now a commercial security operative and 'advisor' for an international firm. He's been in AFG for around four years and tells me that the place is crawling with thousands of Yanks. . . .all over the country. He says that the Taliban are a busted flush, and the ones who still want to fight for idealogical reasons are caught, then paid off handsomely, released with their booty and just go away. It is interesting that there is no reference to this in any media that I can find. . . Mainstrream or social. . . .Odd ?. . . you betcha it is.. It's amazing what you can finance, if you happen to control the spoils of the international heroin trade, and the country which is currently the major supplier of it. . . .Fcuk all the kids and others who are poisoned worldwide by this $hit. . .they just don't matter in the scheme of things it seems. . . .
