eightyknots Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 I wonder if she really does?? ... Someone had a one-track mind when they were naming that street.
onetrack Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Actually, she was a real person who resided in Queens, NY. She died in early 2004 after contracting Guillain-Barre syndrome from a 'flu shot. As a long time resident who was a teacher and community leader, she was recognised by having the street named after her. Of course, Americans pronounce "Fuchs" as "Foooks". Subsonic Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 I would respectfully suggest, that if you find those two signs confusing that you revisit your L test ASAP. It simply means: (in a country that drives on the right) Road goes left Keep right and don't cut Seriously?
