Bikky
Australia has a very strong blues scene! Lloyd Spiegel is another amazing blues artist that deserves more recognition at home.
Jerry_Atrick
I also sort of like this (though, Cold Chisel aren't my fave band):

Bikky
Should have explained - he's definitely Aussie. The clip was shot in NZ.
bexrbetter
Some things get better with age (myself excepted). Yup, was never a big Russel Morris fan in the day, but those recent live recordings are good enough to be on my workshop playlist. Thinking they were only just a bit above average in the day, I have turned into a rather large INXS fan recently, their music holds up very darn well. All is forgiven, then ;) Yup, was never a big Russel Morris fan in the day, but those recent live recordings are good enough to be on my workshop playlist. Thinking they were only just a bit above average in the day, I have turned into a rather large INXS fan recently, their music holds up very darn well. I am in the same boat - a lot of stuff I though was mediocre in my time turns out to be rather good stuff - Hunters & Collectors, Paul Kelly, etc. Some, not so... bexrbetter
The exotic, rich sounds of this track had a big impact on me as an impressionable young fella: Rob E G reminds me of my favorite Uncle, Alan Hawking of the Hawking Brothers, who was a fantastic steel guitarist, and one of Australia's best banjo players (either not shown here)..
