Kyle Communications Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 What a master craftsman this guy must be. I was aghast at how beautiful this is http://www.wimp.com/tiniestengine/
damkia Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Two stroke diesel? Here's one... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/80219/.html and Snopes take on it http://message.snopes.com/showthread.php?t=69270
Thirsty Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 And another amazing masterpiece! Go to 2:10 to see the engine run (100cc flat 12!)
sfGnome Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Notice the closing credits? It took longer to build than the average home-built aircraft, (but wasn't that crankshaft a thing of beauty!).
Phil Perry Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Whilst at college in 1965, my friend and I built a working model of a miniature lathe,. . . ( aprox 900mm in length to give you some idea of scale, . . .) we thought we were quite clever then, it took us 10 months to complete, working in our own time some evenings as well as during college hours, and conning a local foundry into making the bed and other cast parts. . . . It sat in a glass case in the college lobby for a couple of years. BUT. . . Looking at that V-12 engine, this pales so far into insignificance I'm gobsmacked. ( I wonder if the bloke has any other hobbies . . . . ? )
alf jessup Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 That man is a genius and such a skilled craftsman. Brilliant, absolutley Brilliant. Alf
