There are thousands of people posting these short Tiktok style videos these days all for their 15 seconds of fame, in this case 4 seconds and nothing is off the table including 100% CGI. Setup or fabrication, take your pick. Real? not likely.

It looks like a typical faked FB entertainment video to me. If you could see an asteriod from here like that one is supposed to show, it would be absolutely massive. Some people have little else to do, but to produce fake videos, to stir people up.

Typical Hollywood effects: dumbed down for the impatient and uneducated.

The dust debris thrown up from the supposed impact point is billowing out like you’d expect it to in our planet’s atmosphere.

The Moon doesn’t have an atmosphere.

I see Australia s '' Wolf Creek '' crater , got a mention , as a large 1/2 mile wide circular  crater .

Nice of them .

But , we have quite a lot to choose from .  Near Alice Springs I think there is a cluster of five impact craters .

I know these are not fake - I took them myself with my Lumix camera, from my front driveway. In the long shot you can just see a small white speck near the bottom of the moon. I have no idea what it is, I summised it could be the International Space Station, or some other space junk. The zoom shot shows it more clearly. Click to enlarge.

Looks a lot like a ' flying saucer ' to me , as the ' space-station ' is very irregular in shape .

Are you looking at the moon, or the tiny speck at the end of the red arrow? Here is another shot enlarged even more.
