I knew what those bastards were planning, as soon as the video started. This stunt goes back to the Vietnam War era. The Yanks would take the toughest and most resistant to interrogation, of the VC or NVA prisoners, up in a chopper - blindfolded - and try to extract useful intelligence information from them.

When they refused to reveal anything, they were told they'd be pushed out the open door and fall thousands of feet to a horrible death! Many refused - so they were pushed! But the Huey would only be hovering a few feet off the tarmac. The Yanks would pick the prisoner up, and most of the time he'd be so pyschologically rattled, he'd open up.
