Have a look at the block of land marked in red in these images. It is located on the corner of Victoria St and La Trobe St in Melbourne, opposite the Exhibition Buildings. Note the size of the cars in relation to the block.

A developer wants to build a tower taller than the Eureka Tower on this block, making it the tallest building in Melbourne. Is this crazy?

You sure that is the block, not the one across the road (backing on to Little Lonsdale st)? Afterall the block you show is sort of just a glorified traffic island.
