planedriver Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 There must be so many unusual sights that are best seen from the air. For starters, how about Australia, just NW of the Old Bar airstrip and east of Heron Road. Looks to me like it has been laid out with the aid of a GPS? Post other unusual sights for all to see. Head in the clouds Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 For starters, how about Australia, just NW of the Old Bar airstrip ..... It only shows the North Island, maybe their block wasn't large enough to include the South Island?
planedriver Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 It only shows the North Island, maybe their block wasn't large enough to include the South Island? Stage 2 will possibly be made to keep the Tasmanians happy:whisper:

Readymix sign just North of the highway on the Nullabor Plain 32degrees 13 minutes 00 seconds South and 125 degrees 21 minutes 40 seconds East Pud Hi Pud, In Google Earth when viewing scene, I just went to File, save image, to documents or pictures, then when you are about to post, click upload file from documents or where ever you saved it, and attach it to post and it should come up. I'm no computer guru, but I hope this helps. Rgds Alan
Scotty 1 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Another one from just south of Old Bar. It's good for a laugh when you tell the pax to spot the shark. They get frustrated when they can't see it in the water. Cheers Scotty

A nice tornado path right up to the top of Mt Coolangatta in the distance. fortunately no one was killed, but a few farm houses destroyed
