willedoo Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 Here's an interesting way to reuse an old quarry: Shanghai ‘earthscraper’: World’s 1st underground hotel opens in China inside abandoned quarry
spacesailor Posted November 18, 2018 Posted November 18, 2018 The old prospect quarry NSW, is now a new residential suburb, started some years ago but I've not been to have a look. And definitely not as impressive as the Chinese hotel. I wondered how they drain the water, sewage, and any heavy gases. spacesailor
spacesailor Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 It seems my former comment, is not to be a " residential suburb " But a " Greystanes Southern Employment Lands - A warehouse and distribution centre on the western part of the Greystanes Southern Employment Lands (to be known as the QuarryWEST Project, DEXUS Estate). The details of the proposal comprise: â subdivision of the site into eight development lots; â construction of internal roads and site services; â detailed earthworks; â construction and use of industrial (warehousing and distribution centres) and business (retail) facilities across the site; and - a total gross floor area across the site of approximately 131,140 m². " I wonder what the : a" : means ?. spacesailor
willedoo Posted November 20, 2018 Author Posted November 20, 2018 Have never seen  before. Some sort of French thing maybe?
spacesailor Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 It is the lower case " a " with the hat on, proceeding each sentence. Perhaps someone has a NEW Metric printer. spacesailor ( â )
