red750 Posted November 12 Posted November 12 6ft 9in tall. Donald hates being photographed so close to him. 1
facthunter Posted November 12 Posted November 12 So we may have a Trump Dynasty. (NASTY). Well they always envied the British Royals. Now Trump has FIXED THAT too . Power by Birth. what else could go wrong? Nev 1
old man emu Posted November 12 Posted November 12 2 minutes ago, facthunter said: So we may have a Trump Dynasty. Not for a while. In 2028 Baron will be 22 years old. The U.S. Constitution requires a president to be 35 or older. 1
facthunter Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Some Puppet can keep the seat warm. Been done B4. Nev 1
red750 Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Horning in on the Don here, Elon Skum has a new product - affordable tiny homes, basically a transportable. This affordable housing option could be more than just a way to reduce costs—it could represent a bold new approach to one of America’s most pressing challenges: affordable housing. As property prices rise and wages stagnate, the dream of homeownership is slipping away for many. Musk’s plan for these accessible homes proposes a fundamental shift, making homeownership viable for first-time buyers and those facing financial hurdles. If Musk can deliver on his ambitious promises, these tiny homes may soon redefine how millions think about owning a home. 1
onetrack Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Of course, when you're worth $300B (and increasing), and have the ability to buy any home you like, it must feel good to develop homes for those you've shafted to gain your wealth. I'm talking about PayPal fees, just for starters.
old man emu Posted November 12 Posted November 12 The house is one thing, but where is the place to put it. The water, drainage and power connection to make it work. The transport infrastructure to get to and from it? 1
nomadpete Posted November 12 Posted November 12 They already have trailer parks. Aren't they already full of 'tiny homes'? What is the difference? 1 1
nomadpete Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Imagine the headlines.... Muskovite invents THE CARAVAN ! 1
red750 Posted November 12 Posted November 12 They wouldn't get council approval here. You rarely see a single storey place being built these days. Mostly McMansions, 1
Marty_d Posted November 12 Posted November 12 I'd say old mate had more going on in his marriage than who he voted for. Might have been the straw that broke the camel's back (if it's even true) 1
Jerry_Atrick Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Quite an interesting vid https://youtu.be/MAJafY-4at0?si=XlsyznNqeLBJjGhE 1
onetrack Posted November 13 Posted November 13 The richest people in America all bought this election result. Musk spent $118M of his own money to ensure Trump got elected. We don't have any idea, how much all the other billionaires spent on getting Trump elected. Let's just watch the "rewards" handed out to the rich, now - major tax reductions for high earners, and Govt handouts to their companies, and highly profitable Govt contracts awarded to them as well. 2
Marty_d Posted November 13 Posted November 13 That's the saddest part. He appealed most to the poorest in order to give more money to the richest. 1 1
facthunter Posted November 13 Posted November 13 That's the AIM and HE was successful in CONNING them.. Helping the POOR is a bad business PLAN. Nev

red750 Posted November 13 Posted November 13 I saw another post from a woman who said she has cancelled family Thanksgiving and Christmas functions because her husband and his family voted for Trump, and she refuses to open any presents from them. 1
old man emu Posted November 13 Posted November 13 When Trump won in 2016, he was like a bloke who had bought a lotto ticket with a vague hope of winning and then cracked the jackpot. He was unprepared for for the job. This time, however, he seems to be more organised since he seems to have now gathered around him a few people with a bit of an understanding about implementing the role. I'm not saying that the policies are wonderful, but at least he seems to have some sort of roadmap to follow. 1 1 2
willedoo Posted November 13 Posted November 13 He knows he only has four more years so he probably wants to leave a legacy. The test will be whether mad Donald or slightly less mad Donald wins the arm wrestle. If he keeps appointing people like the pair of dipsticks previously mentioned, he might end up looking like the saner one. He'll probably appoint that idiot Kennedy as well just so he's got the complete set of three stooges. 1
old man emu Posted November 13 Posted November 13 One wonders where the expertise lies in either the Senate or Congress. Say what you will about our pollies, but at least they learn them jobs and play as a team. 1
