red750 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Michael Cohen said there’s an easy way to spot when Donald Trump is lying, and you don’t have to read the former president’s lips. Just watch his hands. “When you see the accordion hands start going, what that means is that he’s lying,” Cohen, who was Trump’s longtime fixer and personal attorney, told CNN’s Jim Acosta on Tuesday. “It’s a tell with Donald. Anytime that the accordion hands start, that means that he’s not telling the truth.” Cohen spoke with Acosta about Trump’s on-again, off-again debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, which seems to be back on even though the two camps are still arguing over whether the mics should be muted when they are not speaking. The Harris camp wants the mics on all the time, and Trump has said that’s OK with him. But his campaign wants them off for the Sept. 10 debate. Cohen said there’s a reason for that. “They don’t trust that he’s gonna keep his mouth shut and he won’t stay normal for the 90 minutes of the debate,” Cohen said. Cohen said Trump ― despite what he says ― doesn’t want the mics on, either. “He knows he can’t control himself,” he said. “He says things under his breath, he’s gonna continuously interrupt Kamala every time she says something that he doesn’t agree with. He can’t help himself.” 1 2

nomadpete Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Hey does this exclusive offer include a set of steak knives for the first 75 buyers? 2
old man emu Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I saw on one of those funny picture videos on YT a newspaper headline over a story of announcing a convention of flat-earthers. The headline informed that delegates were coming from countries all around the globe. 2 2
old man emu Posted August 29 Posted August 29 This bloke asks a reasonable question whether Trump was struck by a bullet of not. The bloke accepts that shots were fired towards Trump. I think that his explanation for the blood on Trump's face is sensible, and his thoughts on how Trump took advantage of it are realistic in light of our knowledge of the Orange One. 1
willedoo Posted August 29 Posted August 29 The dude is dreaming. None of the people who got hit were anywhere near close enough to him to splatter blood on Trump. As far as his question as to how the blood got streaked, that's a simple one and has been mentioned on this forum before. There's a lot of blood in your ears (that's why mosquitos always go for them) and it doesn't take much of a nick to bleed a lot. Trump was face down on the deck with blood running from his ear down his cheek. Someone should explain gravity to that bloke in the video. 2

willedoo Posted August 29 Posted August 29 As far as his question "how did the blood get smeared?". Secret service officer holding a cloth on his face (see first photo above). Take that cloth away and it's exactly where the smear or smudge was. 1
onetrack Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Flying bullet fragments from a high powered weapon can do a lot of damage. Those .223 calibre bullets shatter thanks to their high velocity, it's all part of the design to maximise damage. 1
willedoo Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Bouncebacks from lower velocity rounds hitting steel are bad also and they get up enough velocity to do damage. Small slivers are often razor sharp (and hot) and larger pieces have some fairly sharp, ugly shapes to them. Not as dangerous as getting hit by a ricochet though.
old man emu Posted August 30 Posted August 30 This photo can explain the smudging in this photo On closer inspection, by enlarging that second photo, I think I can see tearing at the top of the ear. I suppose we shouldn't quibble about whether he was hit by a bullet or by shrapnel, or simply the blood of another victim. Let's just accept that the whole event was indeed an assassination attempt that could have gone the other way, and we'd be listening to a different presidential candidate. 3
willedoo Posted August 30 Posted August 30 That blood is thick. No aspirin there by the look of it. Thick blood for a thick head. 1
Litespeed Posted August 30 Posted August 30 At least now we know he is a mammal not a green blooded alien. 1
willedoo Posted August 31 Posted August 31 I think America is weird. https://www.dailycloths.com/collections/us-flag 1 1
old man emu Posted September 1 Posted September 1 His follow through is shit. On a serious note, there are many photos of him with stained pants. That these photos are common suggests that he might be suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a functional gastrointestinal disorder characterized by a group of symptoms that commonly include abdominal pain, abdominal bloating and changes in the consistency of bowel movements. It shows a strong correlation of the reported symptoms with stress; indeed diarrhoeal discharges are associated with emotional phenomena. The Bristol stool scale is a diagnostic medical tool designed to classify the form of human faeces into seven categories. It was developed at the Bristol Royal Infirmary as a clinical assessment tool in 1997, and is widely used as a clinical communication aid including being part of the diagnostic triad for irritable bowel syndrome.Research conducted on irritable bowel syndrome in the 2000s, and faecal incontinence has used the Bristol scale as a diagnostic tool easy to use. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bristol_stool_scale 1
red750 Posted September 2 Posted September 2 The Republicans made a great deal about how "Sleepy Joe" was unfit to be president. With all his ramblings (ie. going on about Dr Hannibal Lecter, constant use of superlatives like greatest amazing, etc), Trump's mental acuity must also be drawn into question, and combined with the above photo, is he any better suited to be president? And if he is unfit to carry out the duties of president, under Amendment 25 of the Constitution, that responsibility falls on the vice president. Is America prepared to have J.D.Vance as their president, even in an acting capacity? Things the voters should keep forefront in their minds. 1
red750 Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Why do the Americans keep referring to President This and President That. The country can only have one President, and until the next inauguration, that is President Biden. Apart from him, they are all just Mr. 2
onetrack Posted September 2 Posted September 2 (edited) Couldn't you imagine the tantrum if an interviewer called him, "former President Trump". He still thinks he is President - he just got "robbed", and won't let anyone forget it. There's plenty of memes centred around the amount of golf that Trump plays, instead of working. Edited September 2 by onetrack 1
kgwilson Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Again another weird anomaly of the American system is that all former Presidents are entitled to be addressed as President.
