kgwilson Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 If he does run & win he'll be 85 by the end of his term. Having a geriatric in the top job surely is not a good idea though infinitely better than having an orange complete nutcase liar there I guess. 1 2
Marty_d Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 All his campaign needs to say is "Look at the alternative. " 1 1
old man emu Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 You've got to question a Nation that is willing to elect a leader of an advanced age. BIden would be 86 at the end of the term if elected in 2024 and Trump 82. Franklin Roosevelt was only 63 when he died after nearly 12 years as President. One wonders how manipulated these octogenarians are by the unelected "advisors". And don't forget that these octogenarians had their ideas of international relationships created during the years of the Cold War. Most of the leaders of other countries are significantly younger. Albo is 60. Rishi Sunak of England is only 43. Is it any wonder that the USA's international policies are so outdated. 1 1 1
facthunter Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 OLDER & WISER It's a high bar you'll have to live up to young fella America's Policy is MONEY, Guns and Lawyers. Nev 2 1

rgmwa Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 (edited) Liz Chaney has just released an ad criticising Trump and saying again that he's unfit to be president. I wonder if she's thinking about running next year. She's shown that she is level headed and has principles that she's prepared to stand behind. That would probably get her a good deal of support from a lot of moderate Republicans who don't like Trump, swing voters, and even from a sizeable number of Democrats who think Joe Biden is too old. Maybe even Mitch McConnell would get behind her - at least if he thought she could win, because that's his only yardstick for deciding who to support. Edited May 10, 2023 by rgmwa 2 1
Old Koreelah Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 So we’ve found a Republican who isn’t appalling. The rest are unfit. 1 1
nomadpete Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Is it true that our 'conservatives' model themselves on the Republicans? Come to think of it, where does the word 'conservative' originate? Con - serve - ative Con..... Well they are politicians Serve..... Self serving Ative..... ? 1
facthunter Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 Lukashenko is certainly "Unfit". . Conserve is a Jam. . Conservative.. Resistant to change.. Nev 1
onetrack Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Well, Ron DeSantis has now thrown his hat into the Presidential Ring, and this is really going to poke the Don in the eye. DeSantis hasn't got a hope of winning the Presidency, because Trump will continue to denigrate and abuse him relentlessly - because Don believes he's the only Republican that's worthy of becoming President. Talk about a poisoned chalice. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-05-25/live-updates-ron-desantis-announces-2024-presidential-campaign/102384864
facthunter Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 With a bit of luck they'll both mortally wound each other and the Republicans can get a grip on themselves in the aftermath. Nev. 2

Nev. Nice theory, but ....... Who does that leave? Is there anybody silly enough to want to step up after that plays out? 1
nomadpete Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Republicans seem to be the gun-bible political representatives, and the 'democrats' represent aged care. Both sides seem to stand for greed and war. Far better to let google run the country. At least google keeps a finger on the will of the people. 1
facthunter Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Republican is the "Natural " thing for Americans to vote for, not some God-Emperor conjured up identity with an acute brain function deficit. Helping each other is un American.. We're the effin BEST and stuff the rest. Maybe the YOUTH of America can alter things but I doubt anything can. Nev 1 1
facthunter Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Still a lot better than living in IRAN or Afghanistan or Russia. Beirut Egypt Sudan Saudia Haiti south Africa etc. Nev 1

Nev. Not much chance on the first and even less on the second with the collection of misfits and anarchists who are currently running the Republican show. 1
facthunter Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 I'm sure they are constantly on Putin's mind. He's assassinated PLENTY of people in his time. Those who live by the Sword will die by it(Hopefully). His own oppressed people would be the most appropriate source. Nev 1
Bruce Tuncks Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 I wouldn't advise him to run again, and I'm younger then he will be. 1
facthunter Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 For a GENIUS like Trump it's easy. ' Just ask Him. IF it doesn't go right those around him will be Blamed. We've seen how he works. Why make the same mistake again? . You'd have to be THICK. Everyone expects He'll spend most of his time getting EVEN with those who didn't do as he wanted, last time. Nev 1
Jerry_Atrick Posted May 29, 2023 Posted May 29, 2023 Some interesting information on Donnie's alleged criminal activities: 1 2
rgmwa Posted May 29, 2023 Posted May 29, 2023 I suspect that these cases will still take years to run their course given the inevitable appeals that will follow any convictions. Then if Trump actually gets in again the chances of him ever going to jail will be even more unlikely. If he has been convicted he could simply pardon himself. 1 1 1
red750 Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Trump just made another outlandish pledge to voters Former President Donald Trump vowed to end birthright citizenship in the United States on his first day back in the Oval Office according to a bizarre anit-immigration Agenda47 video that was released by his campaign team on Twitter.
