facthunter Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Lil Donny is used to completely having things HIS way and IF HE gets in again, revenge on anyone who didn't go all out to help achieve the "I was robbed of the presidency" view he will exact revenge on. He's NOT nice or clever but a mean loser and a CON Man especially of the gullible who see him as GOD- Like. Nev 1 1

I share your thoughts; the fact he got away with so much alleged illegal taxe and other alleged corproate offences for so long without even as much as in investigation before he took office has me thinking what took so long? The only thing that I can think is his modus operandi involves paper bags and taking photogrpahs. There are some 91 charges against him across 4 indictments https://www.politico.com/interactives/2023/trump-criminal-investigations-cases-tracker-list/). One of the things in his favour regardless of the cases against him and any defence he may have is the jury system. All it requires is a couple of the folks on the jury to be mad MAGAmites and they will never agree to find him guilty. And they won't be hard to find. 1 1 2
old man emu Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 I see that Trump's side has fired back by charging Joe Biden's son with the horrendous crime of failing to say that he used illegal drugs when he bought a firearm years ago. 1 1

Might backfire. The MAGA rednecks will take Hunter's side on that one. 1

willedoo Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Surely this nut won't get elected again. Is he really getting dementia, or just saying crazy things to lay the groundwork for a mental health defence against serving time? 2

Popular Post willedoo Posted September 29, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 29, 2023 This is Texan Democrat representative Jasmine Crockett giving the Republicans a serve for double standards at the Biden impeachment inquiry hearing. 6
willedoo Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 The news has been reporting that Robert F. Kennedy jnr has decided to run as an independent instead of his original aim of taking the Democrat nomination from Biden. The latter would have been the better option for Biden as Kennedy would have had Buckley's chance of winning the nomination. The worry now is that as an independent, he might bleed votes from Biden. The only good news is that polls show him to be more popular with Republicans than Democrats, so he would be detrimental to Republican chances as well. In a normal country, Kennedy would get f.a. votes, but he's a complete nutter and there's a sizeable audience for that in the U.S.. Hopefully his anti vax stance, myriad conspiracy theories and pro-Russian/anti Ukraine position will attract many more Republican votes than Democrat. Joe would have been a lot happier facing the fruitcake as a Democrat rival rather than losing some votes to him in a Presidential run off. 1 1
onetrack Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 The $64 question is - can RFK Jnr raise much more election money than either Trump or Biden? That's all that counts in American politics. 2 1
Jerry_Atrick Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 Hopefully not. Trumps coporate fraud case starts today. Wonder if the judge will live to see the end of it? Why? Because, despite his rantings on his social media platform, in which he effectively calls for violence, the prosecutors have only mulled about seeking a gag order, which could see hium in the clink for violating it (which no doubt he would). I guess they are balancing justive with the threat of civil war.. Over whom? The world has seriously gone potty. 2 1
old man emu Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 Apparently if the fraud is proved, the penalty is simply monetary - no gaol, and a lifetime prohibition on doing business in the State of New York. Not that he would suffer from the prohibition. He simply needs to hold shares in companies doing business there. The bloke with 49% of the stock can usually have the greatest say in a business, and he only needs his kids to have another 2% of the stock to be in control. 1

The way I read this judgement, `any other entity controlled or beneficially owned' would mean that neither he nor his kids could own shares in any company that owned or controlled the assets. As shareholders they would be part-owners and beneficiaries. If this ruling stands whatever he can throw at it, I think he's done in New York. 1 1
