willedoo Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Came across these photos of a luxury housing estate project in Turkey that went bankrupt recently. It's 732 villas and a shopping centre; the villas were supposed to sell for 500,000 USD each. Apparently a lot of customers from the Gulf region couldn't come good with the cash. Marty_d Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 Yes, I saw that. The architect should have been flogged with his T-square for coming up with those monstrosities. One, by itself in a secluded location, may look quirky but interesting. 732 of them together is just a nightmare.
Jerry_Atrick Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 Apparently a lot of customers from the Gulf region couldn't come good with the cash. I think that was misquoted and should have read "wouldn't"..
Yenn Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 i see a connection between the people who designed this town and the thread preceding this one.
