spacesailor Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 That Motor-cycle museum has a dearer admittance fee, than the nearest ( big jet gumbo's Live high speed taxiing ) aircraft museum. spacesailor
facthunter Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 Geez a Jumbo taxiing? That would get your heart pumping. On that subject, after a recent Motorcycle rally on the NSW South Coast I called in at HARS at Albion Park Rail and got a great guided tour with my wife, sat in a DC4 (That was something for me, after 49 years) and very impressed with all I saw. It's a remarkable achievement and that aerodrome is where I first flew in 1958.. really glad I found the time. The flying Super Constellation is really remarkable. considering their age and complexity.. There's only one or two flying. HIGHLY recommend a visit.. Nev
spacesailor Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 I could be Wrong , on the aircraft museum's whereabouts It could be Bruntingthorpe's cold war aircraft. https://www.bruntingthorpe.com/aviation ( ))it's in the midlands, not the south of England spacesailor
