facthunter Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 SDQDI we all do, but this thread wasn't started by ME.. MM... You will interpret your own material as you wish. Abbott and Co really do waste much more personally than Gillard or Rudd ever did. ( Have a look at Howards bill.).. Regarding the Aircraft...No-one would have run a more ordinary aircraft than the one they used. The personal expense habits of all pollies is out her for all to see if you are interested, but you won't get a hint of it in the Murky Press who you would hardly try to tell me was even handed with it's treatment of both sides of politics. The constant reporting of Gillard Rudd and anything destabilising was done deliberately. and was very effective. Don't blame that on Gillard .She didn't seek it....Phoney gives Murky all he wants. and he gets the press that suits him. You support taxing from 6,000? I can never agree with you there I'm afraid. I give to beggars in the street, but I'm keeping it a secret , cause those people don't deserve anything, and I will be considered a scary.. Pinko.. Nev
Methusala Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 six years of ALP thieving, lying and rorting
Methusala Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Heaps more where this came from about Mr Rabbit's mob. Don
Teckair Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 GG and MM I think you are wasting your time with these people, I just hope they are the vocal minority because if they are representative of the general public we are all screwed.
Teckair Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Don't like the truth Mate. Nev Yeah that's what it is.
fly_tornado Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Abbott is proving a good opposition leader rarely makes a good PM
facthunter Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 It will all be revealed. Gold award performance according to him, but he may be bearing false witness unto himself, Nev
Methusala Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Back away from the suicide bomber of truth, boys! He's loaded and ready to drop. (T.A. "The juries still out on my prime ministership!". Yeah...right...)
fly_tornado Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Be interesting to see what sort of deal Abbott offers Palmer. I reckon Clive won't go cheaply.
facthunter Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Bit of a wild card there. No love lost either. Nev
turboplanner Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Well the climate is definitely changing, we've had two full moons already and the month's not yet over.
arielle Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Although I prefer the flying threads, unless we have more than the usual complement of trolls, this is one way of sorting the intellectual wheat from the chaff, rather surprised at some now filed as 'treat opinions with caution.'
Kyle Communications Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Vote for me a benevolent dictator. I would sort a few things out The problem with a democracy is that it rarely works because 51% are happy with the decisions and 49% are cranky about it. One boss and the rest followers works better usually…now don't start on the Hitler crap and all those other looneys the word "benevolent" is the key here….although absolute power usually corrupts absolutely over time…Bjelke Joh is a good example..he did great things for this state because he ran it like a dictator…but after 23 years he became filled with his own delusions of grander and thought he could do anything he wanted So give me a couple of years in the job and I would clean a lot of things up. The do gooders wouldn't like me though problem is more jails would need to be built…then again that brings up more employment I suppose. Waiting for the flames to appear
winsor68 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Jails ate great for business...low wages...and the nastier you treat the inmates the nastier the faceless crowd cheers... You people need to evolve. If anyone needs any proof of evolution a quick perusal of this thread would suffice. Sadly the rest of us may end up just as extinct as the Neanderthals...
Kyle Communications Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Who said criminals would be badly treated..thats not a good start on the way to trying to make a reasonable person out of a bad one. I am not a do gooder but think I am pretty stable and have a vision for what would be good for the country and 99% of the population. The problem with our society is that the governments are trying to legislate for the lowest common denominator…when in real terms the lowest common denominator is probably only around 5 to 10% of the population. The rest of us generally are level headed and have that rare commodity called "common sense". The governments over the last 40 years have been trying to stop common sense they do it in our education system and in their legislative actions they also are taking away the other rare thing and that is called being responsible for your own actions. The younger generation now has been the victim of this dumbing down and with this they have no respect for older people and their values or dare I say the police or the law….the government is a victim of their own actions

Kyle Communications Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Sorry should have qualified that statement…90% of the 50% of the population that are above the age of 40
winsor68 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 The problem with our society is not that government is legislating for the bottom 10%...rather they are legislating for the top 5%...and another 46% are happy to push themselves to the front of the line and haven't woken up to the fact they are never going to be invited to the party anyway.
fly_tornado Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 You've got a benevolent dictator in Clive Palmer, a conservative with a grudge against the LNP. What a fantastic combination!
Marty_d Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 What a fantastic thread. Just goes to prove that humanity is a broad church.
planedriver Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 And there's too many asleep in the back row.
